Position Overview

We are building the future of intelligent infrastructure automation through agentic AI, and we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and build user-facing experiences that power Luumen, our AI-driven automation platform utilized by enterprise IT and managed service providers globally. This role presents a unique opportunity to create innovative web applications that bring agentic AI to life.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement modern, responsive web interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop integrations using GraphQL and REST to present real-time AI insights and infrastructure data.
• Create reusable components and shared UI frameworks to enhance scalability across Luumen’s web products.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize API performance and define data contracts.
• Integrate with agentic and LLM-driven systems to visualize AI reasoning and contextual responses.
• Develop robust end-to-end tests using Cypress and Playwright, ensuring cross-browser reliability.
• Enhance performance, accessibility, and security across all web platforms.
• Contribute to front-end architecture decisions, tooling enhancements, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Work closely with product and design teams to transform complex AI and infrastructure concepts into user-friendly interfaces.
• Participate actively in code reviews, feature planning, and agile development cycles.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years experience in developing modern web applications at scale.
• Strong expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• In-depth understanding of GraphQL and effective client-side data fetching strategies.
• Experience in writing maintainable, testable code with testing tools like Cypress, Jest, or Playwright.
• Solid knowledge of front-end performance optimization and component lifecycle patterns.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts and integrating model-driven APIs into web applications.
• Understanding of secure authentication and authorization in SPA environments.
• Proficiency in version control systems and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Docker.
• Strong design instincts and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced, collaborative remote team.

Bonus Points

• Experience in visualizing AI outputs, embeddings, or telemetry data in dashboards or analytics interfaces.
• Familiarity with Next.js App Router, React Server Components, or Edge Rendering.
• Exposure to GraphQL federation or schema stitching across distributed systems.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS, DevOps tools, or monitoring/observability platforms.
• Contributions to open-source front-end or developer tooling projects.
• Background in AI-based UX or conversational interfaces.
