A key Digital Technology leader within the Service Agreements, Marketing & Sales organization. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Software Engineering, and Engineering/Data Science teams to shape, prioritize, and deliver strategic digital initiatives that drive business growth and customer success. Will champion technology solutions that empower our internal teams and enhance the experience of our external customers, ensuring alignment between business objectives and digital capabilities.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and own the execution of an integrated digital strategy for Sales & Marketing across Commercial Engines & Services.
  • Partner closely with functional and technical counterparts to develop a comprehensive and prioritized product category roadmap.
  • Evaluate internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills to ensure alignment between various stakeholders.
  • Lead a variety of software products ranging from SaaS products (like Salesforce.com, Tableau) to custom developed software critical for proposal management.
  • Act as a practitioner and coach of FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace's proprietary Lean Operating System to accelerate deployment of strategic capabilities and value to the D&S business.
  • Ensure high levels of performance and availability across all products and lead communication/problem-solving when issues arise.
  • Own all budget and financial forecasting activities for the category, ensuring strong controllership and accountability.
  • Ensure cyber security, obsolescence, and other risks are proactively managed across entire product portfolio.
  • Maintain specialized knowledge within the team through performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Stay informed of industry and technology trends that may inform work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 11 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 13 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

  • Deep expertise with large scale transactions in CES related businesses.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written (presentations, memos) and oral, and experience engaging with executive leadership.
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to prioritize effectively and work productively in a cross functional and matrixed environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong digital product management capability, including application of Agile & Lean principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex programs and anticipate/mitigate risk.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and develop talent.
  • 5 years of people leadership experience & mentoring technical product owners.
