We’re supporting a growing events and promotions company that’s expanding its presence in Cincinnati, OH. As part of this growth, they’re looking for an enthusiastic Event Assistant to join their Promotional Sales Team and support upcoming live events, pop-ups, and brand activations.

This is a hands-on, people-facing role suited to individuals who enjoy fast-paced environments, working with a team, and engaging directly with the public.

About the Opportunity

Our client specialises in delivering high-impact promotional events that connect well-known brands with new customers through face-to-face engagement. Their team environment is collaborative, energetic, and focused on creating positive experiences at every event.

As an Event Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced team members, learning the fundamentals of promotions, customer engagement, and event-based sales while contributing directly to each campaign’s success.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting event setup and breakdown, including displays, signage, and promotional materials
• Engaging with attendees in a friendly, professional manner
• Sharing information about products or services and answering questions confidently
• Assisting customers throughout the event to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience
• Supporting the sales process, including promoting offers and closing on-site transactions
• Working closely with the wider sales and marketing team during live campaigns
• Gathering feedback and assisting with post-event reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication skills and a positive, outgoing attitude
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Comfort working in busy, fast-moving environments
• A team-focused mindset with a willingness to learn
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, retail, or customer service is helpful but not required
