Dynatrace Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure Dynatrace monitoring agents on servers and applications.
• Set up and configure monitoring profiles for different types of applications and services.
• Monitor the performance of servers, virtual machines, containers, and other infrastructure components.
• Configure and optimize monitoring settings to ensure accurate performance data collection.
• Monitor the performance of applications and services to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Configure custom application monitoring settings based on specific requirements.
• Set up alerts and thresholds for performance metrics to detect and respond to incidents proactively.
• Investigate and troubleshoot performance issues, collaborating with development and operations teams.
• Analyze performance data to make recommendations for capacity planning and resource optimization.
• Work with other teams to ensure that the infrastructure meets the performance requirements of applications.
• Integrate Dynatrace with other monitoring and logging tools to provide a comprehensive view of the IT environment.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless data flow between different monitoring and management solutions.
• Implement security best practices for the Dynatrace platform.
• Manage user access and permissions to ensure the security of monitoring data.
• Plan and execute upgrades of the Dynatrace platform to ensure access to the latest features and improvements.
• Manage patching and updates to address security vulnerabilities and performance issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for installation procedures, configuration settings, and troubleshooting guides.
• Keep documentation up to date with changes in the Dynatrace environment.
• Provide training to other IT teams on using Dynatrace for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Offer support to end-users and other teams experiencing issues related to performance monitoring.
• Stay current with Dynatrace updates, best practices, and industry trends.
• Continuously assess and improve the performance monitoring strategy and implementation.
