Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DataStage Lead to design, develop, and lead enterprise-scale data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in IBM DataStage, Snowflake, and dbt, along with leadership experience in driving end-to-end data engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ETL/ELT solutions using IBM DataStage.
• Architect and manage data pipelines integrating Snowflake as the cloud data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain transformation models using dbt following analytics engineering best practices.
• Oversee end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, validation, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and downstream analytics teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Perform code reviews, enforce data engineering standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, error handling, and audit compliance.
• Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release management.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage (Parallel Jobs, Sequencers, performance tuning).
• Proven experience working with Snowflake (data modeling, optimization, loading strategies).
• Solid experience with dbt (models, tests, snapshots, macros).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and cloud databases.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and large-scale datasets.
• Ability to lead technical teams and work in onsite enterprise environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Banking, finance, or enterprise data domain experience.
