Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite from Day 1)

Experience: Relevant experience in WebSphere Administration

Job Description / Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) environments.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize WAS performance, including JVM tuning.

Deploy, manage, and support enterprise applications on WebSphere servers.

Work closely with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues.

Implement and maintain security policies and user access within WAS.

Participate in system upgrades, patches, and server migrations.

Maintain proper documentation for configuration, processes, and procedures.

Provide day-to-day administrative support for WebSphere applications and servers.

Required Skills / Qualifications

Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration.

Experience with WebSphere clustering, JVM tuning, and performance monitoring.

Knowledge of J2EE, SOAP, REST, MQ is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work onsite in Cincinnati, OH from Day 1.

Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in enterprise production environments.

Familiarity with automation, scripting, and deployment tools.

Knowledge of application server high availability and failover configurations.
